The management, and staff of Digga Excavations are
committed to the production of high quality work in all aspects of
its operations.
It is our objective to adopt a Total Quality Management approach,
integrating the principles of continuous improvement of our systems
and processes, involving all employees and working in partnership
with our customers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that we
consistently produce work of the highest possible standard.
We are in the process of being certified for ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems.
Environmental Policy
Healey Investments Pty Ltd is committed in principle and practice to
the protection of the environment. We maintain environmental
responsibility for our activities by;
preventing pollution to soil, air and water.
preventing damage to flora and fauna.
conserving materials and energy.
This is achieved by ensuring that the requirement for environmental
responsibility is integrated into decision making and being alert to
technical advances that may improve environmental performance.
Health and Safety Policy
We are committed to managing our operations in a way which promote
a safe and healthy environment for employees, subcontractors,
clients, visitors, and the general public. Our primary aim is to
protect the health and safety of all persons entering the workplace.
To realize this aim we will;
Develop and implement policies and safe work practices to create
and maintain a safe working environment.
Promote health and safety awareness as a priority over commercial
productivity.
Promote absolute regard for the general public, land owners, and
home owners.
Provide workplaces that are safe and without risks to health.
Provide all resources necessary to develop, maintain, review and
revise best practice health and safety systems in all of our
workplaces.
Provide information, instruction and training to our employees to
enable them to perform work in a safe manner and without risks to
health.
Provide supervision so that each employee has responsibility for
their own health and safety and that of others in the workplace can
be fully realised.
Provide and maintain tools, plant and equipment that is safe and
without risks to health.
Provide and have access to first aid and safety equipment relevant
to the trade.
Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry
best practice in regard to health and safety management.
Provide a health and safety management structure that ensures all
of the above actions are complied with in all our workplaces.
We believe that communication and co-operation between employees is
the means by which all of the above actions will be utilised to
provide a safe work environment that eliminate injuries.
