Pier Boring
Our range of augers allow for all onsite bored pier foundations from 150mm - 2400mm up to 20 meters in depth.
This range allows us to bore holes for anything from fence posts up to immense pier foundations for towers, industrial and construction purposes.

We can offer a complete pier boring service with numerous advantages over a traditional boring rig. Not only do we have the capability of boring, but we have an advantage of being able to interchange auger with rock breaker, ripper, buckets and core barrels to guarentee required hole depths.
Our excavators are more mobile around building sites, are easier to mobilize and are then already onsite for all required excavtion works. There is no need for another machine to be brought onsite.

Our 33ton Hitachi has been working at the new Homemaker Center at Cambridge. We have bored over 1000 pier holes up to 5 meters deep and ranging from 450-750mm diameter.

Transmission Line Tower Foundations, North East
For this project we set up the boring excavator which completed 72 bored 1200mm - 1800mm diameter foundations at 5.8 - 7.2 meters deep and placed foundation reinforcing formwork and poured concrete.
The excavator also had a 35ton rock breaker onsite to break out problem rocks, which could then be augered out or cleaned out with the core barrels.
